Springtime Dance News!

Hello Dancers! I share our playlists every week, but it’s been a while since I’ve said HI otherwise. I wanted first off to let you know that the Winter season of dancing at MPCC completes at the end of April, but we will be continuing uninterrupted on Tuesdays throughout the Spring. Our last dance will be on June 20th, and then we’ll break for the summer (outdoor unofficial dance meetups – like last year – are always an option!)

TIMING: Some of you have noticed that I’ve altered the FB events to show 8:15pm to 9:30pm. We usually do start a little bit late, and recently the community centre added another class into their schedule ending at 8:15pm. That instructor has been gracious enough to allow us to come in and set up while their class completes (she was not aware that her program was slotted directly ahead of ours!), but even so we are realistically not out until 9:20-9:30pm. Our dances are still one hour, as per usual.

Feel free to contact me with questions, suggestions, DJ scheduling and any song requests! Over the next two weeks (March 28 & April 4) we’ll be dancing the ALPHABET with yours truly providing the mix. See you soon!

XOXO, Den Mama Darlene AKA DJ Darfunkel
