HI! I’m your new DEN MAMA!

I decided to take on DDPPVanCity because:

  1. I love music! Making playlists brings me back to the mix-tape creating sessions of my youth.
  2. I love dancing! I think what I do may be more like vaguely rhythmic flailing, but it feels so right.
  3. I love Mt. Pleasant! It’s been my home for 6 years, and I want to keep the Dance Party alive right here in my ‘hood.

Enjoy some photos of my “flailing” and “festival-ing” here:

Wanna know more about me?

I have a B.A. from UVic and a couple of administrative jobs. I also studied massage at Langara and occasionally work as a spa therapist.

I am probably a nerd, and definitely a collector. My apartment is full of books, movies, CDs (yes, I still have those things!) and games. I own 5 generations of Nintendo…

Ok, I guess I am for sure a nerd:

I go to a lot of concerts! My first was Metallica at age 15. The band I’ve seen the most is PEARL JAM (9 times). My favourite event is the Vancouver Folk Music Festival (an excellent place to dance!) which I can be found volunteering at every July.

I love being a tourist in my own town and can often be found taking pictures of EVERYTHING.

I look forward to dancing with you! 🙂
