Danger – Danger – Wha? Happened?

Attention Fans of DDPP!

DDPP Vancouver is in danger of being cancelled.

Maybe it’s hockey, maybe you’re busy with Spring time events, maybe you’ve taking up running, for whatever reason the last two DDPP classes have had the lowest attendance on record.

As we operate through a community centre, and as this is a new ‘season’ with them and part of their policy has a minimum class size DDPP is in danger of being cancelled if not enough people come to this week’s class (May 12 – the season continues until the end of June).

Working with the Mt Pleasant Community centre works best for me as I’m not paying a deposit for the room. The alternative is finding another space and time that works for more people but at the moment Thursdays 8:30-9:30 pm is what we can get.

If you support DDPP, if you like DDPP, if you love DDPP I encourage you to come to this week’s Dance Dance Party Party.

Dance Dance Party Party is a women-only freestyle dance session happening all over this great Earth. But what does that mean? Women from all ages enter a dark room with a bunch of strangers, dance their asses off to an eclectic mix of dance songs, and leave as friends, refreshed. It’s like reliving that late-night dance party from a sleep-over party you had when you were 10. It also just so happens to be incredible exercise that you don’t even realize you’re doing. If you’d like to voice a concern about DDPP or give your two cents about why you haven’t made it out/ stopped coming/ try to come but never can swing it please email Sara (me), your Den Mother at sarabynoe(at symbol)gmail.com

DDPP has been a tremendous joy for me and I’d hate to let it go so easily. This is a community event, you can DJ a class, all ladies are welcome in this judgement free zone so if you’d like to help out or drive it in another direction let me know.
